Tiny Tots (tbc)

Introduce your child to the world of partner dancing with these 30 minute ‘parent-assisted’ classes. Light dance warm ups start the class then we move onto mini routines and dance sequences which are taught to promote confidence & co-ordination. Some of the partner dances taught include Cha-Cha & Merengue. Suitable for children aged from 3 to 5 y.o.

 

Beginner Classes

Feel at home in these fun and safe beginner friendly dance classes. In these classes you will learn a range of dance styles such as Salsa, Cha-Cha, Foxtrot, Merengue, Rumba, Jive the Waltz and a few more surprises. These classes are suited for the absolute first timer. We recommend you stay at least 3 months in the beginner classes to really make sure you know your basics back to front.

Latin American

Latin American is also known as ‘DanceSport’ or ‘Ballroom Latin’. This dance style is one of our favourites. With this style of dance there is always something new to learn, so if you really want to take your dancing to the next level then start here. Enjoy the Samba, Cha-Cha, Rumba, Paso Doble is & Jive. This style can be danced socially & competitively.

Ballroom

Ballroom dance is a set of partner dances, which are enjoyed both socially and competitively around the world. Because of its performance and entertainment aspects, ballroom dance is also widely enjoyed on stage, film, & television. There are 5 ballroom dances available to learn; Waltz, Tango, Slow Foxtrot, Quickstep & the Viennese Waltz.

Kids Classes

These classes are designed to grow & develop every child's dance abilities within a structured standardised curriculum. Every 3 months we hold dance exams at the studio through the Australian Dancing Society. Your child will perform partnered by their teacher in front of an accredited & registered judge. This allows every child to progress to the next dance class level.

Street Latin

Our Street Latin classes (Salsa, Bachata & Merengue) are where most of our students first start. These classes are designed to get you on the social dance floor having fun. Learn more combinations and techniques every time you move up a level. So start today and be a dancer that everyone loves to dance with. Two left feet are always welcomed.

 

New Vogue

The New Vogue dance style is an Australian form of sequenced dancing that originated in the 1930s. New Vogue Dances are based on one of several sub categories, including Viennese Waltz Rhythm, Slow Foxtrot Rhythm, March Rhythm and Tango Rhythm. This is a great style to learn for first time dancers and for those who like a low impact type of dance.

Latin Fitness

These popular classes begin with a combination of strengthening exercises. The main base of these classes will comprise of mini routines that you can follow along to and end with a short stretch session. The dance styles will change throughout the class including most of the Latin American & Street Latin dances along with a few surprises. These classes run on Saturday mornings. at 11am.
